Data Control
Your data, your rules. Here's exactly how to manage it.
Export Your Data
Want a copy of everything? You can download it anytime:
- Go to Settings → Privacy
- Click Export Data
- Download the JSON file
Your export includes everything — all tasks (active and completed), notes, calendar events, and settings. It's your data, and you should always be able to take it with you.
Delete Your Data
Delete Specific Items
Right-click any task, note, or event and select Delete. It's removed permanently — no 30-day grace period, no "are you really sure?" purgatory.
Delete Everything
If you want a clean slate:
- Go to Settings → Privacy
- Click Delete All Data
- Confirm the action
This wipes everything from your device and any synced cloud data. When we say delete, we mean delete.
Data Retention
- Local data - Stays on your device until you delete it
- Synced data - Stays on servers until you delete it
- Server logs - Minimal logs kept for 7 days for debugging, then gone
No hidden retention policies, no "we keep a backup just in case." Your delete means our delete.
Third-Party Integrations
When you connect external services like Google Calendar:
- We only access what you explicitly authorise
- We don't store your third-party credentials
- You can disconnect at any time
Disconnecting an integration kills our access immediately. No lingering tokens, no "we'll remove access within 30 days." It's instant.
